The VAS possesses modern testing and measurement equipment. Some of them are listed below:

• Charging amplifier/pressure transducer for a testing range of up to 250 bar
• Analytical balance up to a weight of 210gr
• Magnetic inductive and eddy current gauge for measuring layer thicknesses up to 1 mm
• Analogue impulse testing machine in the testing range of 15m (mobile)
• Universal hardness testing machine for HRC and HRV testing
• ultrasonic device/ultrasonic measuring heads
• Perthometer for measurements of surface roughness between 100 and 150μm
• Laser GASP for measurements of surface stress of glass in the range of 0-180 N/mm2
