Behaviour of Building products under fire

This area of work entails the verification of the fire behavior of building products of construction material class B1/B2, in the context of conformance tests of building products according to the Building Regulation List A, part 1 as well as issuing certifications.

Examples of building products investigated are:

• Cold formed components made of corrosion protected steel plates and strips
• Components made of glass fibre reinforced synthetic materials
• Sandwich panels
• Components made of thermo-plastics
• Coated fabrics
• Membranes made of film or coated fabrics
