Abstract and preview

All theoretical assumptions or numeric deduced results could be verified by the comparison of the results. For that, results from a database established from this project served as a basis.
The results of the project complete the calculation methods of th DIN standards 18807 and expand the methods of the until now excluded usage for fully or partially perforated corrugated profiles made of steel or aluminum. The now existing calculation method allows a calculation of the carrying capacity according to DIN 18807 or DIN EN 1993-1-3 for all perforations of fully- or partially perforated trapezoid or corrugated profiles. The results of this method require a reduced financial and time effort than the usual experimental calculation, and on top, they show a much better correlation to the results.
